Responsibilities WHAT YOU’LL DO AS A CANYON RANCH COLLEAGUE:

Demonstrate a strong understanding of Canyon Ranch philosophy and applies it consistently in daily operations, guest interactions, and project execution.

Follow safety standards, OSHA regulations, and environmental practices including herbicide and pest control application, water usage, and safe equipment operation.

Perform comprehensive grounds care and maintenance, including debris removal, trimming, landscape installation, irrigation repair, digging/trenching, heavy lifting, and assisting with grounds projects as directed.

Clean and maintain exterior areas such as fixtures, roadways, sidewalks, and hardscapes; perform pressure washing and handle daily waste and compactor operations.

Operate gas‑powered tools and heavy equipment including mowers, trimmers, saws, blowers, Kubota tractor, dump buggy, and street sweeper.

Lead small teams on assigned projects, ensuring quality outcomes while working collaboratively, independently, and calmly under pressure.

Qualifications WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

Weekly shift schedule is 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, weekends required. Flexible weekday schedule available.

High School diploma or G.E.D. preferred, but not required.

One year of regional landscape experience preferred; candidates with construction or similar outdoor labor experience will be considered.

Ability to work outdoors year‑round in all weather conditions, including temperatures exceeding 100°F.

Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and perform sustained physical labor for the entire shift.

Smartscape certification or training through the University of Arizona Cooperative Extension preferred, where applicable.
