Faculty Administrative Assistant – GI Tumor Program Admin
H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute, Inc. provides dedicated support to the GI Tumor Oncology Administration. The role supports multiple faculty members and ensures efficient operation of the program.
Summary Position provides administrative support for the GI Tumor Program Admin. Requires strong communication, organization, and independent initiative.
Position Highlights

Customer service and interpersonal communication
The Ideal Candidate
Administrative support for 3 or more individuals in a medical facility/office.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience managing multiple Outlook calendars, scheduling travel and meetings.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
Responsibilities
Manages multiple complex faculty calendars, coordinating appointments, meetings, travel, and clinic schedules.
Frequent coordination of internal and external meetings with multiple attendees.
Distribute postal mail.
Prepare and submit Expense Reports and Check Requests.
Coordinate Facilities/IT environmental service and move requests.
Generate ad hoc program reporting such as daily census report.
Recognize priorities and use resourcefulness in completion of tasks and special projects.
Offer constructive ideas and suggestions for improved operations.
Competent in MS Office suite for professional documentation.
Perform clinic template change requests.
Record, transcribe and publish quality meeting minutes.
Perform physician time surveys.
Reconcile/track faculty PDF account activities.
Handle multiple projects and changing priorities under pressure.
Manage multi-line phone and triage calls appropriately.
Draft and edit clear, concise professional correspondence (e.g., emails, memos).
Credentials and Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
Minimum two (2) years administrative support experience.
Strong communication skills.
Highly motivated and attentive to detail.
Intermediate proficiency in MS Office and Windows.
Attention to detail in accurate deliverables.
Self‑motivated, ability to prioritize and multi‑task with little oversight.
Independent team member who is proactive and highly motivated.
