Overview The Wisconsin Union, often referred to as "the heart and soul" of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, has enhanced the lives of members and visitors since it was founded in 1907. Since 1928, when the doors to Memorial Union opened, the Wisconsin Union has served as the living room of the UW-Madison campus. The Union connects students, faculty, staff, members and visitors through shared cultural, social and recreational events and experiences.

Anticipated Hours Anticipated Hours Per Week: 4 or more

Schedule M-F: Scheduled hours may include shifts between 3pm - 11pm; occasional Saturday hours between 7am - Midnight

Shifts are 4+ hours in length.

Salary/Wage Range Hourly $15.00 to $15.00

Position Summary / Job Duties

Work collaboratively with other employees to set up rooms for various events

Provide support and help organize, as needed

Assist in event set up/tear down and custodial duties

Qualifications

Effective oral and written communication skills

Physical Demands: Bending, squatting, and twisting, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling

Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
