Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline
Job Description Support the Navy Space and Crystalline Weapons (NSWC) Crane division and the Navy Hypersonic Program Office by providing system engineering and digital engineering services for the customer’s digital infrastructure and engineering initiatives. Enable the rapid delivery of advanced hypersonic weapon capabilities through effective digital engineering practices.
Responsibilities
Participate in and facilitate team meetings to reach consensus on requirements and capture strategic digital engineering capabilities for internal and external stakeholders.
Direct end‑to‑end digital engineering processes and prepare and coordinate required documentation.
Perform requirements elicitation directly with stakeholders, documenting and drafting requirements for submission to Enterprise IT resources.
Required Education and Experience
5+ years of experience in engineering or related technical roles.
Interim Secret clearance required to start, with sponsorship available from SAIC.
US Citizenship required.
Desired Experience
Experience in requirements development using Dassault Systemes Cameo or other tools (DOORS, MagicDraw, Jama, Enterprise Architect, Capella, etc.).
Effective communication of complex topics to technical and non‑technical audiences.
Strong interpersonal skills and judgment for navigating and resolving challenging situations.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Basic experience with modern digital engineering systems and tools (Jira, Confluence, Windchill, Teams, SharePoint, GitLab).
Foundation knowledge of networking (LANs, WANs, routers, data flows, interfaces).
Basic understanding of application architecture (VM, containerization, DevSecOps CI/CD).
Experience with project management tools (Jira, MS Project, Milestones Professional).
Experience with business intelligence or data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Excel).
