Could you be the full-time Facility Technician in Baltimore we’re looking for?

Your future role Take on a new challenge and apply your technical expertise in a dynamic, safety-focused environment. You’ll report to the Facilities Supervisor (Baltimore) and work alongside a dedicated, collaborative, and proactive team.

You’ll play a key role in maintaining and improving our passenger rail stations and facilities to ensure safe and efficient operations. Day-to-day, you’ll perform preventive and corrective maintenance, conduct inspections, and support other operational tasks. You’ll also manage work through our CMMS system and coordinate with contractors when needed.

You’ll specifically take care of maintaining station equipment and infrastructure, but also repairing crossings, culverts, sidewalks, and parking lots.

We’ll look to you for:

Performing preventive maintenance on facility and station equipment

Managing and documenting tasks using CMMS

Conducting inspections at stations and facilities

Providing flagging protection for contracted work parties (CSX Rules training required)

Maintaining signage at rail stations and facilities

Performing repairs or replacements of crossings, culverts, sidewalks, and parking lots

Supporting other tasks necessary for safe and efficient railroad operations

High School Diploma or GED

Technical training or equivalent experience in maintenance or construction

Valid driver’s license with no restrictions

Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and work varied hours, including holidays and weekends

Strong safety awareness and ability to wear PPE

Preferred: Experience in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC

Proficiency with hand and power tools

Familiarity with CMMS systems and Microsoft Office

Strong problem-solving, communication, and time management skills
