Municipal Transportation Project Engineer (PE)

In this role, you will be a technical leader in the design of municipal transportation systems, ensuring that local roadway and drainage projects meet the highest standards of safety and efficiency. Design & Alignment:

Analyze and design vertical and horizontal alignments in strict accordance with AASHTO specifications. Infrastructure Analysis:

Lead the design and analysis of culverts and storm sewer systems to ensure resilient municipal drainage. Plan Production:

Prepare high-quality, comprehensive plan sets within budget and scope, utilizing industry-standard software. Collaboration:

Work closely with the internal transportation team and coordinate with subconsultants to maintain plan continuity and hit project milestones. Strategic Growth:

Assist in marketing efforts and securing new work to help grow the firm’s municipal transportation footprint. Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate is a local infrastructure expert who values the mentorship and real-time problem-solving found in a focused, in-office environment. Licensure:

Valid and active State of Oklahoma Professional Engineer (PE) license (Other state reciprocity is accepted). Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university. Experience:

5+ years of municipal transportation design experience, including a history of working with public sector agencies. Software Proficiency:

Advanced skills in

Civil 3D ,

Bentley products , and Microsoft Office. Communication:
