Director of Pastor Relations – Bob Jones University
Summary: The Director of Pastor Relations will grow the number and depth of valuable pastor relationships to BJU, focusing on connecting constituents to the academic value at BJU and enhancing enrollment.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Create, organize, and facilitate relationships with key church and ministry leaders.
Travel as necessary to build new key relationships for BJU.
Know and build relationships with ministry leaders in key organizations.
Keep and report statistics on relationships and visits, especially as it relates to the South Carolina constituents.
Grow the number of campus visitors to BJU with a focus on pastor visits.
Plan and execute value‑based mini‑events for key influencers to view BJU as a creator of value.
Oversee the maintenance of our internal reports and updates on key relationships to ensure they are accurate and thorough.
Facilitate the process of providing value (primarily academic value) from BJU to key stakeholders.
Connect the key people at BJU to the key influencers that BJU needs to connect to.
Any other duties the President or Chief Enrollment Officer deems necessary.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Excellent writing, editing, and superior communication skills.
Knowledge of programs and undergraduate requirements for admission.
Knowledge of outcomes and values of BJU.
High skill in interpersonal relations.Positive attitude, capable of working with others and converting ideas to practical applications.
Understands the demands and needs of a Pastor.
Understands the demands and needs of a School Administrator.

Each applicant must agree with and affirm the Bob Jones University creed, mission, and core biblical doctrines. Overview: Garfield Baptist Church seeks a Full‑Time Pastor to lead, preach, and serve the church community.
Qualities and Expectations
Man called by God and set apart to the gospel ministry, in theological agreement with the “Baptist Faith and Message” (2000 revision).
Lives and serves in a manner consistent with Scriptural standards.
Excellent communicator, preacher, teacher, and shepherd.
Compassionate, wise, and capable of leading worship, pastoral care, and outreach.
Commitment to uphold Christian teaching and to be ordained or eligible for ordination in a Reformed tradition.
Primary Responsibilities
Preaching/Teaching – Prepare and deliver biblically based sermons.
Worship/Liturgist – Plan and lead Sunday services and special services.
Spiritual Direction/Pastoral Care – Provide counseling and rites of passage.
