An opportunity has arisen within RWG Inc. for an Operations Manager. The successful candidate will be based in Houston, TX and will report to the Executive Vice President. The Operations Manager is responsible for leading the operations team and overseeing the safe and efficient execution of services in accordance with the company policies, procedures, targets and customer requirements.

An overview of your day

Lead and motivate the operations team in the safe and efficient execution of gas turbine repair, overhaul and performance testing.

Champion a proactive and quality culture and execute plans to meet company targets.

Oversee the recruitment, training, development, and supervision of the operations team.

Establish and maintain effective operational policies and procedures for the safe execution of work.

Lead the development and execution of proactive maintenance plans to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Challenge and improve efficiency of existing processes and procedures to increase internal capacity and reduce turn-time.

Develop and manage operational and capital budgets and forecasts to ensure company targets are met.

Oversee the management of the RWG company supply chain, and subcontractors, to meet current and future business demands.

Oversee the establishment of optimum stock levels to support short, medium and long term business demands.

Coordinate with internal customers to ensure customer requirements and company targets are being met.

Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and re-forecasts – including overheads and capital expenditures for operations department.

Lead company requirements to record KPI statistics, develop plans to maintain performance and drive operational improvement and efficiency.

What we need from you

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university preferred but not required.

More than 10 years related experience in operations management. Experience in Industrial & Marine Gas Turbine Repair and Overhaul preferred.

Basic computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
