Summary A co-teacher is responsible for the care and well‑being of 16 children ages 2‑5. Co‑teachers are paired, with a maximum ratio of 1:8.
Duties Co‑teachers handle lesson planning, conduct meaningful interactions with children, manage classroom behavior, maintain a tidy classroom, communicate with families, ensure child safety, and help create a positive, happy environment.
Requirements Eighteen years of age and a high school diploma. Experience preferred but not mandatory.
Nice To Haves CDA or other credentials in early childhood education, Associate’s or Bachelor’s in early childhood education, CPR/First Aid certification.
