The iconic Arizona Biltmore is located in the heart of the prestigious Biltmore neighborhood in Phoenix. The resort was named the “Jewel of the Desert” since its opening on February 23, 1929. This gorgeous 39-acre property reopened in May 2021 after undergoing a $150 million restoration. It has over 700 rooms, over 200,000 square feet in banquet space spread out over the beautiful property, 9 food and beverage outlets (including 2 restaurants, 2 bars, 2 poolside bars, a gelato shop/café, and in-room dining), a luxury spa, and 7 pools including a 65' waterslide.
Instagram, Facebook What you will have an opportunity to do:As a **Steward/Dishwasher,** you will be responsible for washing dishes and general kitchen cleaning duties to include cleaning and mopping floors and trash removal.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS* Gather pots and pans to wash in a three (3) compartment sink or a pot machine; breakdown, spray, load, unload dishes, glassware and flatware as they arrive in the dish area, then return items to the appropriate storage location* Maintain chemical detergents in all applicable equipment such as dish washers, pot washers, and routine dispensers.* Wash baseboards, floor drains, hand sinks, tables and cutting boards; sweep and mop all floors, wash all floor mats; clean kitchen equipment to include but not limited to dish machines, ice machines, pot machines, prep tables, hot boxes, refrigerators, etc.* Separate, remove, and properly dispose of trash and garbage, including potential biohazard cleanup.* Maintain inventories of linen and remove soiled linen.* Comply with regulatory departments and with departmental and property policies and procedures, to include Health Department, OSHA, Fire Department, etc.* Complete mandatory health and safety training as required by the company or regulatory entities.* Perform other job-related duties as required by management.This is a **full-time** position, and you must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays. **The shift for this position is from 4:30pm-1am.**EDUCATION* High School graduate or equivalent, preferredEXPERIENCE* At least one (1) year of prior work experience, required* Previous dishwasher experience, preferred* Hospitality experience, preferredLICENSES OR CERTIFICATES* Maricopa Food Handler’s Card* ServSafe Certification, preferred**Compensation:**-Pyramid Global Hospitality is an equal opportunity employer.
