$19 Position Overview Our client, a well-established local CPA firm, is seeking a professional and personable Receptionist to support office operations during the busy tax season. This contract role serves as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, ensuring a positive, organized, and efficient office experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and thrives in a fast-paced professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
Visitor Management: Greet clients and visitors warmly, manage sign‑ins, and direct guests to appropriate staff or meeting rooms.
Phone Handling: Answer, screen, and route incoming calls professionally; take accurate messages and relay information promptly.
Scheduling & Coordination: Manage appointment calendars, schedule meetings, and reserve conference rooms as needed.
Administrative Support: Sort and distribute incoming mail, prepare basic correspondence, and assist with general clerical tasks.
Office Upkeep: Maintain a clean, organized reception area and ensure common areas are stocked and presentable.
General Support: Provide additional administrative support to staff as needed to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications & Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Friendly, professional, and customer‑service-oriented demeanor.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
Proficiency in basic office software and phone systems.
Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment.
Prior receptionist or administrative experience preferred, especially in a professional services setting.
Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
