Are you an enthusiastic and passionate Fitness Instructor that can lead group classes and provide one‑on‑one training sessions?

We are looking to appoint a highly motivated Fitness Instructor to join our team based at the Sports Centre located at Brayford Pool Campus, in a full‑time, 37 hours per week role.

You will have a strong background in fitness, qualified to at least a Level 2 Fitness Instructor, ideally Level Personal Trainer, excellent communication skills, and a genuine desire to help others improve their health and well‑being. You must be flexible, reliable, be able to work to set targets and enjoy working as part of a team.

Key responsibilities Your duties will include supervision of customers during their use of the centre and gym, including teaching and instructing members as and when required, undertaking fitness assessments, fitness classes, gym programmes, induction sessions and personal training. You'll also be required to carry out safety checks on all apparatus and equipment and ensure that the facility is cleaned, prepared, maintained to an excellent level, with sports equipment set ups and derig and reception cover.

Working hours The role will include mornings starting at 05:45, evenings finishing at 23:15 and weekend work.
