Responsibilities
Develop and implement innovative and effective teaching methods that align with our mission of unlocking student potential.
Infuse cultural elements into the curriculum to celebrate diversity and foster understanding.
Participate in community-building initiatives with colleagues, parents, and community members.
Prioritize individual student needs and create an environment where each student feels valued and empowered.
Commit to professional development, staying informed about best practices and contributing to program improvement.
Inspire students to become socially conscious leaders, instilling a sense of responsibility to contribute to positive community change.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field.
Nevada teaching certification/license, with appropriate endorsements.
Proficiency in English.
Commitment to the VVA Mission and Vision.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Cultural competence and appreciation for diversity.
Ability to adapt to a dynamic collaborative work environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in K‑8 education.
Prior experience working on a collaborative, dynamic team.
Proficiency or fluency in a second language.
