Position Overview As a faculty member, you will nurture inquisitive and research-based critical thinkers, communicators, leaders, and lifelong learners, creating a student-centered environment that reflects diversity, lifelong learning, and community impact.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field.

Nevada teaching certification/license, with appropriate endorsements.

Proficiency in English.

Commitment to the VVA Mission and Vision.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Cultural competence and appreciation for diversity.

Ability to adapt to a dynamic collaborative work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in K‑8 education.

Prior experience working on a collaborative, dynamic team.

Proficiency or fluency in a second language.
