Position Overview : As a faculty member, you will help shape students into critical thinkers, confident communicators, and community leaders while fostering a student‑centered learning environment that values diversity and lifelong learning.
Responsibilities :
Develop and implement innovative teaching methods aligned with our mission to unlock the potential of all students.
Integrate cultural elements into the curriculum, celebrating diversity and fostering understanding.
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and community members to build a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Prioritize individual student needs and aspirations, ensuring each student feels valued, supported, and empowered.
Commit to professional development, staying informed about best practices, and contributing to continuous improvement.
Inspire students to become socially conscious leaders who contribute positively to the community.
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field.
Nevada teaching certification/license with appropriate area(s) of endorsement.
Proficiency in English.
Commitment to the VVA Mission and Vision.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Cultural competence and appreciation for diversity.
Adaptability to a dynamic, collaborative work environment.
Preferred Qualifications :
Prior elementary education experience.
Experience working on a collaborative and dynamic team or desire to do so.
Proficiency or fluency in a second language.
