Goodwill Industries of Kentucky is looking for an energetic, self-motivated, dynamic professional Janitor to join our team! The Janitor will clean common areas and offices as well as maintain fixtures, equipment and grounds location. Pay:
$14.00/hour
Job Type:
Part-Time / 3pm-7pm / M-F
Essential Duties and Tasks:
Provides maintenance and custodial services for the buildings, equipment, grounds and fixtures.
Demonstrates proficient knowledge of equipment including the location of switches, controls and valves.
Maintains floor-care and instructions in areas as assigned.
Works on rotating schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
Basic knowledge of maintenance and custodial work; previous experience a plus.
Ability to read and write.
Must be able to perform all janitorial tasks on a daily basis.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. or more occasionally.
Ability to follow instructions, including safety procedures and correct safety issues, if possible.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to sit or stand for an extended period of time
