HR Generalist
We are looking for a skilled and self-motivated HR Generalist to join our team in Memphis, Tennessee. In this long-term contract role, you will play a key part in supporting various human resources functions, including recruitment, benefits administration, onboarding, and employee relations. This position requires a strong background in the healthcare industry and HR practices, as well as the ability to work independently and stay organized.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate onboarding processes for new hires, including paperwork submission, orientation sessions, and initial training.
- Administer employee benefits, including enrollment in health insurance and retirement plans, while providing guidance on available options.
- Collaborate with payroll teams to ensure accurate adjustments and timely processing of payroll-related documentation.
- Maintain employee records and personnel files in compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements.
- Conduct exit interviews and manage separation documentation, including COBRA paperwork and related processes.
- Verify provider licensures and certifications, ensuring compliance through regular monitoring and documentation updates.
- Respond to requests for employment and salary verifications from external agencies in a timely manner.
- Prepare annual insurance census reports and submissions required for compliance with regulatory agencies.
- Support recruitment efforts by managing full-cycle hiring processes and assisting with policy development.
- Contribute to the maintenance and communication of the employee handbook and organizational policies.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in human resources administration, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of HR functions, including recruitment, benefits, and employee relations.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and proficiency in ADP Workforce Now.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks independently with excellent organizational skills.
- Solid understanding of onboarding processes and benefits administration.
- Experience with full-cycle recruiting and employee record management.
- Knowledge of compliance requirements related to licensure and certifications.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders.
