Senior Compensation Analyst (Contract)

Role Summary This contract Senior Compensation Analyst will support core compensation programs and tools, with a primary focus on data analysis, salary planning, market benchmarking, and equity administration. The role partners closely with a small, collaborative compensation team to support HR and managers with accurate, timely compensation insights.
Key Responsibilities
Support annual and mid-year compensation review cycles through market pricing, modeling, and analysis.
Review and analyze market data to ensure pay range competitiveness and support salary survey submissions.
Assist with equity administration, including weekly new-hire audits and preparation of monthly grant files.
Maintain and update internal compensation tools (primarily Excel-based recruiter and adjustment tools) on a monthly cadence.
Download data from Workday, integrate into compensation tools, and perform internal analysis for compensation partners.
Support cyclical compensation processes with defined deadlines, including salary planning, equity grants, and surveys.
Respond to compensation-related requests and ensure data accuracy and attention to detail across deliverables.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, Business, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in compensation, HR analytics, or a related discipline.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; working knowledge of Google Sheets required.
Experience with Workday strongly preferred (limited administrative updates; training provided).
Familiarity with compensation surveys and submissions (Radford, Comptryx, Aon Mercer) preferred.
Experience with equity administration, stock options, and RSUs is a plus.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to manage overlapping priorities and meet cyclical deadlines.
Self-starter with high attention to detail and a collaborative, “roll-up-your-sleeves” approach.
