Talent Acquisition Specialist

to manage the full-cycle recruitment process for a diverse range of positions across the organization. This role partners closely with hiring managers to attract, engage, and hire qualified candidates who align with Arc Broward’s values and commitment to service excellence.

About the Role

RECRUITMENT

Forecasts hiring needs through workforce planning and recruitment strategies

Responsible for the productivity and performance of all recruitment activities

Analyze, review, and manage UKG Pro Recruiting Gateway applicant tracking system through reporting and pivot recruiting strategy as necessary

Source top talent through innovative and advanced sourcing channels for candidates, including but not limited to job boards, colleges, social media, employee referrals, and networking

Responsible for hiring goals and presents results to Leadership, with supporting data

Professionally represent and promote the Arc Broward brand at recruiting events, specifically expanding our branding on college campuses and networking events.

EMPLOYEE ENGAGEMENT

Promotes employee engagement through active participation in the company initiatives and workgroups for employee engagement

Participates in development of recognition programs that reflect Arc Broward values

Leads initiatives to recognize employees for accomplishments and work-related milestones

Takes a lead role in the agency’s retention and development activities, recognizing that talent acquisition and development and retention are all related.

HR GENERALIST

Finds opportunities to streamline business processes and recommend procedural changes.

Provides continuous improvement recommendations to HR leadership for changes to HR compliance and operational processes and process documentation

Serves as primary backup to the People Experience & Onboarding Specialist for onboarding activities.

Education/License/Certification/Experience/Skill Requirements Graduation from an accredited college or university with a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in social work, psychology, social services, education, or related services field with a minimum of 3 years’ experience; preferably in non-profit.

HRCI or SHRM Certification preferred or willing to obtain in designated time frame.

Bilingual English + Spanish or Creole (preferred)

Demonstrates proficiency and effectiveness in verbal and written communication skills.

Strong problem-solving skills.

Exceptional organizational skills, time management and ability to handle high volume multiple projects.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Recruiting platforms, and UKG.

Valid FL driver’s license and successful level II background check, physical and drug screen.
