Job Title: Transportation Coordinator/Dispatcher
Location: Springdale, AR
Shift: Sun‑Tues/every other Saturday 8:00 PM – 8:00 AM
Role Description This is an on‑site, contract role for a Dispatcher located in Springdale, AR. The Dispatcher will handle daily scheduling and dispatching of drivers and vehicles, coordinate delivery routes, and ensure efficient logistics operations. Key responsibilities also include monitoring transportation activities, managing communication channels, resolving operational issues, and maintaining logs and reports for compliance and performance tracking. The selected candidate will collaborate closely with the operations team and external stakeholders to ensure smooth and timely execution of transportation plans.
Qualifications
Logistics and dispatch expertise, including scheduling, route planning, and load management.
Strong communication and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to manage real‑time operational changes.
Establishes and maintains positive, effective relationships with key internal contacts; UTILIZES SEVERAL DISPATCH SYSTEMS (TES, LME, FOUR KITES, OTR) AND EXTERNAL SCHEDULING SYSTEMS (RETAILIX, RETAIL LINK, UNFI, ONE NETWORK, etc.) TO PROBLEM SOLVE FOR ALL BUSINESS UNITS.
Proficient in using transportation management systems (TMS) and other relevant tools.
Attention to detail and organizational capabilities for record‑keeping and compliance tracking.
Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, on‑site environment.
Familiarity with local and federal transportation regulations is a plus.
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in logistics is an advantage.
