Job Overview
Kennedys is seeking a motivated Litigation Assistant to join our respected Catastrophic Injury team across Bristol, Manchester, Birmingham and Taunton offices. The role will provide comprehensive support in investigating and managing high‑value cases for a diverse range of external clients.
Responsibilities Your responsibilities will include assisting with a variety of complex motor claims, including those that are sensitive and have garnered national media attention.
Additional duties include:
Assist in high‑value personal injury claims.
Support high‑profile group litigation.
Team and Clients Kennedys' Serious and Catastrophic Injury team, ranked Tier 1 by Legal 500, specialises in handling large loss and catastrophic injury claims arising from motor, employer liability (EL), and public liability (PL) accidents.
Clients include:
Large composite and motor insurers
London market insurers
Corporates
Required Experience
1‑2+ years of relevant experience.
Litigation experience in personal injury defence work.
Experience handling medical chronologies.
Arranging expert appointments and conferences with counsel.
Experience assisting on large cases in a team environment.
Strong written communication skills.
