Grecian Delight | Kronos Foods (GDK) is a premier provider of authentic Greek and Mediterranean cuisine, including gyros, pitas, flatbreads, tzatziki, hummus, falafel, ready‑to‑eat proteins, and bakery products. Position Overview Production Associate – full‑time position at Elk Grove Village, IL. Responsible for completing assigned tasks and duties in the assigned department. We are willing to train motivated workers.
Responsibilities
Advocate and work safely, following all safety rules.
Maintain good housekeeping and follow all GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices).
Report any issue found with equipment, materials, and/or finished products, including foreign objects.
Assemble, set up, break down, and inspect all equipment in the assigned area.
Operate equipment and machines; handle and move product through the manufacturing process.
Measure, add, grind, and/or mix ingredients and other raw materials.
Work independently with limited supervision.
Responsible for the quality, sanitation, and line performance of each line.
Perform all duties required to produce a good quality product, including quality checks, equipment set‑up, and operational maintenance.
Report any and all safety concerns.
Perform all duties necessary to meet third‑party audit requirements and company standards, including SQF, HACCP, FSMA, USDA, FDA, etc.
Utilize tools and equipment required for each task, including pallet jack.
Report on and track productivity using computers, iPads, or other technology.
Any and all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a food manufacturing plant or equivalent preferred.
Experience operating machinery desired.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements The manufacturing plant environment includes varied temperatures (hot, cold, freezer). The work environment involves proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on high places, and exposure to chemicals. Employees frequently stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb, crouch, kneel, reach overhead, and lift up to 50 lbs while pushing unassisted.

Pay Rate
General Laborer: $16.50/hour.
Skilled Labor: $17.00–$19.00/hour.
Shift Differentials: $1.00 for 2nd shift and $1.50 for 3rd shift.
