Job Title Extension Educators Coordinator 3 – Hancock County

Responsibilities

Support the programmatic efforts for 4-H Youth Development in Hancock County in line with the goals set by the 4-H Educator.

Work with office staff, key stakeholders, partners, and community members to support educational programs and activities for youth based on community needs and the 4-H model.

Assist the 4-H Educator and other staff with 4-H enrollment, volunteer recruitment, data entry and management, record keeping, and organization/maintenance of files.

Collaborate with the 4-H Educator and Office Associate to develop printed and digital media/flyers including webpages, blog sites, social media, newsletters, and articles.

Participate as an Ohio State University Extension team member in Hancock County by attending staff meetings, stewardship model, and engaging in professional development opportunities.

Work collaboratively with Extension personnel to maintain a positive public image and demonstrate the mission of the land grant university.

Minimum Required Qualifications

High School diploma or GED. Certification or vocational training may be required. Associate degree in a relevant field may be preferred.

2 years of relevant experience required; 4‑6 years preferred.

Other Requirements

Successful completion of a background check. Drug screen or physical may be required during the post‑offer process.

Compensation and Benefits Pay range: $16.65 – $21.77 hourly. Benefits include a comprehensive benefits package available to eligible employees.

Shift First Shift

Employment Type Regular, scheduled hours: 30.
