Position Overview We are seeking an
entry-level Payroll Analyst
to join our team in Charleston, SC. This is an excellent opportunity for a
recent graduate or someone with 1–2 years of payroll or accounting experience . The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and advanced Excel skills. Training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
Process and maintain payroll data for multiple entities across various states.
Respond to union reporting requests and prepare monthly union reports.
Enter and pay weekly 941 tax.
Update timesheets and distribute accordingly.
Process benefit invoices and enter payments into the accounting system.
Code payroll for union dues and assist with annual audits.
Serve as backup for payroll processing.
Perform other duties as needed to support business operations.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree preferred
(Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field).
Experience:
1 year with a degree OR 3 years without a degree.
Internship experience in payroll/accounting is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Experience with union payroll or Sage software is a plus.
Ability to start immediately.
