We are looking for a Dispensary Pharmacy Technician who will be responsible for working collaboratively with other Pharmacy Technicians to prepare prescriptions. All tasks and duties must be completed in accordance and compliance with HIPAA guidelines, State and Federal laws, and current company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Dispense prescription drugs to be checked by a Pharmacist
Remove expired products weekly
Organize and maintain product stock
Count, measure and prepare specified product using company best practices
Notify management of out-of-stock or low inventory products
Perform other Pharmacy Technician duties as assigned
Experience and Education Requirements
High school diploma required
1 year experience as a Pharmacy Technician required
Other qualifications to be considered
Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
Ability to pay close attention to detail
Team player
Demonstrate proactive approaches to problem solving with strong decision making capability
Independently motivated
Highly versatile and resourceful team player, with the ability to also be effective independently
Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands
Demonstrate ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
