Caregiver — Griswold Home Care for Southeast Houston is calling compassionate individuals to apply to join our amazing team as a full-time Caregiver. Responsibilities
As a Caregiver, provide non-medical elderly care and home companionship. Assist with activities of daily living, including personal care, meals, housekeeping, laundry, grocery shopping, and meal preparation. Support clients to remain in their homes and maintain independence. Assist with mobility as needed (e.g., gait belt for safety when standing or walking beside clients). Provide companionship to clients who have dementia or cognitive impairments. Maintain client dignity at all times and communicate with the office about client condition and needs. Document shifts and provide timely updates. Some client examples include The Stephens: couples care; assistance with standing and walking, with pace and safety considerations. Compensation for this role is $13-17 per hour. Qualifications
Reliable transportation 6 months of experience providing care to the elderly A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred 2+ years of home care experience would be a plus; caring for a loved one counts We are willing to train you Why join our team
