Summary Job Summary The Regional Mobile Maintenance Technician in the Facilities Department is responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of equipment and systems across multiple locations within the region. This role requires an elevated level of technical proficiency and the ability to work independently and efficiently in a demanding environment whilst completing work orders and following recommended route scheduling based on the workload and direction of management

What You’ll Do

Oversees and manages assigned project and/or departments data, ensuring it meets predetermined contractual or policy requirements

Conduct data entry and data management for various department projects

Assist with the development of training materials such as manuals, handbooks, presentations, diagrams, workflows, and project plans

Receive and prioritize work orders from building occupants, management, automated systems

Execute repairs on a wide range of equipment, including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical fixtures, landscaping and building infrastructure.

Install new equipment, fixtures, and components according to specifications and safety regulations as directed by the Portfolio manager.

Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal equipment performance.

Manage inventory of spare parts, tools, and materials, ensuring adequate stock for repairs and maintenance.

Follow safety procedures and regulations, using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensuring a safe work environment.

Communicate clearly with store colleagues, management, and other technicians regarding work progress, potential disruptions, and safety concerns.

Keep tools, vehicles, equipment, and work areas clean and organized to ensure efficiency and safety.

Continuously learn and adapt to innovative technologies, industry best practices, and safety regulations.

Review of the store condition with the help of checklists and, if necessary, damage assessment and recording

Additional duties as required

What You’ll Need

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software

Ability to work independently

Basic understanding of and ability to repair, install, and maintain HVAC, plumbing fundamentals, electrical systems and equipment.

Ability to patch, paint and install store fixtures and signage.

Ability to work with power tools, and perform carpentry, paint, and plastering work.

Required Education, Certifications/ Licenses, Related Experience

High School Diploma / GED

1-3 years of experience in a related field three

In lieu of degree, 5+ years of experience in related field will meet the education and related experience requirements listed above.

US Driver's License

Physical Job Requirements

Ability to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment, including the store(s), distribution center(s), warehouse(s), and/or corporate office(s) with the capability to switch job functions/roles quickly.

Ability to remain in a stationary position (standing and/or seated) more than half the time.

Ability to maneuver cases of product (lift, move, carry, slide, etc.) up to 50 lbs.

Ability to operate machinery and/or equipment that requires the constant use of hands/fingers/wrists.

Ability to spend more than half the time viewing computer monitors.

Ability to identify and distinguish between colors more than half the time

Travel Requirements

This position commutes up to 75% of the time within a day.

This position requires overnight domestic travel up to 75% of the time.

This position requires overnight international travel up to 25% of the time.

Anticipated travel will be by company van.
