We are seeking a skilled individual to join our manufacturing team. This individual will be responsible for powder coating and/or painting a wide range of products. Your daily responsibilities will include: Operating powder coat/paint systems, including loading and spraying powder/paint. Hanging and unhanging uncoated products. Operating curing ovens and ensuring proper bake cycles. Performing setup tasks such as changing powders/paints and adjusting spray equipment. Ensuring all work meets quality specifications and standards. Assisting with troubleshooting and maintenance of coating equipment. Supporting and training team members in powder coating/painting operations. What Will Help You Thrive in This Role?
Experience & Skills:
1–5 years of related experience in powder coating, painting, or similar mechanical/electrical maintenance roles. Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, electro‑mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Lockout‑Tagout (LOTO) training required. Preferred backgrounds in the manufacturing industry. Education:
High school diploma, GED, or trade school experience preferred. Ability to perform basic reading, writing, and math functions. Technical & Language Skills:
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, memos, and correspondence. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to read machine drawings and use hand/power tools. Mathematical & Reasoning Ability:
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). Ability to follow detailed written and oral instructions. Physical Requirements:
Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift up to 35 lbs. Frequent use of hands and arms to handle tools and materials. Visual acuity for close, color, distance, and peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
