Position Overview Growing Seasons Landscaping (GSL) is hiring a
Heavy Equipment Operator
for our
Well Services Division . This role requires
minimum excavator and skid steer experience
in
oil & gas environments . Operators must be safety-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable working on active well sites.
Bulldozer experience is preferred but not required.
This position supports pad construction, access roads, site restoration, and related well-site operations.
What You’ll Be Doing
Operate
excavators and skid steers
for:
Pad construction and maintenance
Trenching and backfilling
Roadway and access improvements
Site restoration and grading
Work on
active and reclaimed well sites
following strict safety protocols
Perform daily
equipment inspections, greasing, and basic maintenance
Communicate with foremen and crew to execute daily job plans
Assist ground crew as needed to keep production moving
Maintain a clean, compliant, and safe worksite at all times
Required Experience & Qualifications
Minimum 2+ years operating excavators and skid steers
Experience in
oil & gas, utilities, heavy civil, or industrial site work
Strong understanding of jobsite safety and hazard awareness
Ability to pass required
drug screening and background checks
Reliable transportation and strong attendance
Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
Ability to climb on/off equipment multiple times per day
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Comfort working around heavy equipment, uneven terrain, and industrial sites
