J Collection | New Orleans We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for an Area Reservationist to support a portfolio of eleven (11) unique boutique hotels located in the heart of New Orleans. This position is well-suited for a detail-oriented, guest-centric professional who excels in a dynamic, multi-property environment and enjoys creating seamless booking experiences that set the stage for memorable stays.
Reservationist Overview: The Multi-Property Reservations Agent is responsible for managing guest reservations across multiple hotel locations while consistently delivering a high level of service. This role plays a critical part in ensuring reservation accuracy, enhancing the guest journey, and supporting revenue goals through clear communication, thoughtful attention to detail, and effective coordination across systems and properties.
Responsibilities:
Manage incoming reservation calls, emails, and online inquiries for multiple hotels
Book, modify, and cancel guest reservations accurately in the PMS
Provide information on room types, rates, amenities, and policies
Upsell room upgrades, packages, and promotions when appropriate
Maintain accurate guest and reservation records
Communicate reservation details with property teams as needed
Customer service or hospitality experience preferred
Strong communication and phone skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable working across multiple properties and systems
Strong attention to detail and organization
