Cloud Administrator (AWS / Azure) Type:
Contract Location:
Remote (LATAM ONLY)
Overview We are seeking a skilled Cloud Administrator to support and maintain our AWS and Azure environments. This role focuses on day-to-day cloud operations, ensuring platform stability, security, and cost efficiency while supporting existing workloads. The ideal candidate is comfortable operating in established cloud environments and understands the operational and security expectations common in healthcare organizations.
Key Responsibilities
Perform day-to-day administration of AWS and Azure cloud environments
Support existing cloud workloads (KTLO – keep the lights on)
Provision, configure, and manage cloud resources according to defined standards
Manage identity and access using AWS IAM and Azure AD / Entra RBAC
Monitor system health, performance, availability, and cost
Configure and respond to alerts; perform basic incident response and troubleshooting
Execute routine operational tasks including patching, backups, tagging, and lifecycle management
Handle access requests, service requests, and standard changes
Collaborate with internal teams to maintain secure, compliant cloud platforms
Required Skills & Qualifications
2–5 years of hands‑on experience administering AWS and/or Azure environments
Strong understanding of IAM and RBAC concepts in AWS and Azure
Experience with cloud monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Azure Monitor)
Familiarity with scripting and automation using PowerShell, Python, or Bash
Working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code concepts and tools (e.g., Terraform)
Solid troubleshooting skills and comfort supporting production systems
General awareness of security, compliance, and operational expectations in healthcare environments
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in regulated environments (healthcare, finance, etc.)
Familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow
Exposure to cloud cost management and optimization practices
Certifications (Preferred, Not Required)
AWS Certified SysOps Administrator
Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104)
