Job Description Bilingual Spanish speaker highly preferred!
$500 Sign on Bonus
Serves as lead worker to others within the Patient Service function. Demonstrates knowledge of and ability to complete all functionality with area to include duties related to patient services i.e., Check-In, Check-Out, Kiosk Greeter, and Call Center.
Responsibilities
Serves as lead worker to others within patient services to include information resource, mentor, and support to team members.
Provides feedback regarding developing, implementing, reviewing, and revising policies and procedures affecting the teams functional area/responsibilities.
Provides support to new employees during the on-boarding process.
Registers patients in an efficient and accurate manner.
Understands various insurance programs and apply information to patient registration process.
Communicates insurance benefits in a manner that is understandable to the patient.
Enters accurate charges 95% of the time.
Collects co-payments and appropriate deductibles.
Schedules patients for proper follow up appointment.
Qualifications Education:
Required: High school diploma/GED. Preferred: Completion of medical office assistant program
Experience:
Required: 3 years of experience working in a medical office setting
Certifications:
