Job Description
The Department of Entomology is seeking a part‑time laboratory assistant to support entomological and botanical specimen preparation, data management, and research data analysis. Remote or hybrid work is not guaranteed.
Responsibilities
Prepare entomological and botanical specimens using museum standards.
Manage data associated with museum specimens.
Facilitate data analysis for biological research involving plant galls and their associated species.
Qualifications
B.S./B.A. in Biology, with a minor in Statistics.
Familiarity with insect collections and specimens.
Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, up to 40, during the academic year and between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.; the position will likely end between May and August.
Compensation $16 per hour.
