What You'll Do:

Prepare and bake a wide variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, including large-scale breakfast production for 100+ residents.

Develop, test, execute, and decorate pastries and desserts for daily service and special occasions, ensuring quality, nutrition, and presentation standards.

Create, stock, replenish, and maintain baked goods for the facility café, ensuring displays are organized, clean, and fully stocked daily.

Follow all safe food handling, sanitation, and local health department regulations; demonstrate proper knife skills and safe equipment use.

Maintain a clean, organized work environment while monitoring ingredient quality, minimizing waste, assisting with inventory, and collaborating with the culinary team.

What You'll Need:

High school diploma or equivalent (required)

Proficient in reading, writing, and comprehending English (required)

At least 1 year of experience in volume cooking/baking (required)

Maintains required competencies in accordance with state and federal regulations (required)

Physically able to stand, sit, walk, bend, squat, and lift/carry up to 20 pounds frequently and up to 25 pounds or more with assistance (required)

Strong interpersonal skills, able to interact effectively with residents, families, visitors, and team members (required)

Proficient in reading, writing, and following instructions in English (required)
