Role Description The Behavioral Specialist – Psychologist will deliver therapeutic interventions and behavioral support services to clients, ensuring personalized care tailored to their needs. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, designing and implementing behavior plans, providing training to staff or families, and documenting client progress. This is a part‑time, on‑site role located in Michigan, United States, requiring collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to promote clients' independence and quality of life.
Qualifications
Expertise in Behavioral Interventions and Development of Behavior Support Plans
Strong Assessment, Observation, and Analytical Skills for Evaluating Client Needs
Proficiency in Counseling, Therapy Techniques, and Client‑Centered Interventions
Effective Communication and Collaboration Skills with Multidisciplinary Teams
Licensure as per Michigan state requirements
Experience working with clients in a therapeutic or supportive role
