Job Summary Develop and maintain Bills of Material (BOM) structures and analyze part data inputs from engineering functional areas such as product design or manufacturing engineering. This role supports the successful implementation of new products and product updates for a specific manufacturing unit. As an entry-level position, work may be reviewed by a supervisor or senior team members. Responsibilities are performed within a predefined BOM structure and involve collaboration with a limited number of functional teams.
Responsibilities
Support product development and engineering tasks, including data gathering and document preparation, following established procedures.
Perform tests requiring detailed assessment, measurement, and judgment.
Ensure compliance with established standards and protocols for routine inquiries.
Extract and organize data into spreadsheets or standard formats.
Draft and maintain technical and user documentation; create backup files for recovery.
Prepare routine reports, letters, and memoranda using standard office software.
Adhere to organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory codes relevant to the role.
Participate in training and development activities to build technical and professional capabilities.
Stay informed on relevant technology, regulations, and industry best practices.
Years of Experience and Education
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent level.
Experience:
Entry-level; prior exposure to engineering or manufacturing processes preferred.
Skills Required
Proficiency with standard office equipment and software packages.
Ability to analyze data trends and prepare reports with guidance.
Understanding of business context, processes, and organizational structure.
Competence in data acquisition, organization, and protection.
Strong verbal communication skills and ability to follow compliance standards.
Analytical skills for evaluating solutions and creating recommendations.
Familiarity with numerical concepts for basic mathematical operations.
Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks to meet objectives.
Adaptability and problem-solving skills in dynamic environments.
