Parts Data Management Analyst

Position Summary The Parts Data Management Analyst supports product engineering and development by maintaining accurate product data. This role focuses on creating, updating, and auditing Bills of Material (BOMs), material master data, and specifications in SAP and PDMLink to support new products and engineering changes. This is an entry-level role suitable for recent graduates or early-career professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Create, update, and maintain BOMs in SAP and PDMLink
Process engineering change requests for parts and assemblies
Maintain material master and part attribute data
Ensure data accuracy and compliance with engineering standards
Audit and process specification and engineering change requests
Monitor engineering changes to maintain data integrity
Act as specification representative on project teams
Support inter-factory coordination and implementation
Extract and analyze engineering data for validation and reporting
Prepare technical documentation and reports
Maintain organized records and backup files
Liaise with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams
Facilitate meetings and publish meeting minutes
Provide feedback supporting specification and decision activities
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (Engineering, Business, Data Analytics, or related field)
Strong attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Ability to follow defined processes and standards
Strong communication skills
Willingness to learn SAP and engineering systems
Preferred Qualifications
SAP experience (BOMs, material master, or engineering changes)
Experience with PDMLink or other PLM systems
Exposure to manufacturing or product engineering
Internship or co-op experience
