Job Summary This role involves working closely with students to develop and monitor academic plans, providing guidance on course selections, academic policies, and progress toward degree requirements.
Responsibilities
Develop individualized academic plans for students.
Provide counseling on course selection, degree requirements, and academic policies.
Track student progress and intervene as needed to keep them on schedule.
Collaborate with faculty and other departments to support student success.
Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of higher‑education systems and tools.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree.
Relevant advising or counseling experience.
Technological proficiency and detail‑oriented work style.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred
Master’s degree.
Familiarity with higher‑education systems such as Ellucian, degree audits, etc.
Employment Details Part‑time faculty position.
Location: 1179 University Drive, Newark, OH 43055.
