SupplyGo Education are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants across a range of Primary, SEND and specialist schools. We are looking for dedicated, caring professionals with experience supporting children and vulnerable adults, and a passion for making a difference in the lives of those with additional needs.
Key responsibilities
Provide one‑to‑one support for students aged 4‑19, mainly those with Autism, ADHD and other learning difficulties.
Assist teachers in classroom settings for Key Stage 1–4.
Support pupils in both mainstream and SEND schools across the North of Nottingham, Derbyshire, the Matlock area, Ruddington, NG11, Ilkeston, Burton‑on‑Trent, Rainworth and the Derbyshire Dales.
Work on full‑time, part‑time or day‑to‑day basis, as required.
Support Deaf, hard of hearing or communication‑disabling students, where appropriate, and apply British Sign Language skills where needed.
Promote positive learning environments and help with behaviour management.
Qualifications & skills
Experience supporting children, young people or vulnerable adults.
Passion for working with individuals who have additional needs.
For positions involving BSL: proven British Sign Language proficiency.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
