We are currently seeking an Associate Water ResourcesEngineer to join a dynamic department for very reputable civil engineering firm located in Riverside, CA.

This position offers a hybrid work schedule. We are looking for enthusiastic leaders who are committed to life-long learning and always expanding their knowledge of their discipline.

Salary range: $120,000 - $130,000

Responsibilities

Assist in the planning, design, and construction of water and wastewater projects, pipelines, pump stations, reservoirs, and treatment facilities

Production of plans and specifications for water and wastewater projects

Assist in preparation of various engineering reports, including alignment and feasibility studies, preliminary design reports, and Master Plans

Hydraulic modeling of water and sewer systems

Coordination of engineering tasks during project construction such as permitting issues, submittal reviews, survey coordination, and change order review

Designing mechanical related projects including pump and lift stations, wells, and treatment facilities, including site grading plans

Support multiple design teams and Project Managers

Requirements

Ability to produce drawings, layouts, sketches, maps, and graphic representations of engineering designs using CAD software

Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering and two years' experience in related projects

Possession of PE license

Proficient in AutoCAD; Civil 3D a plus

Working knowledge of planning and construction documents

Excellent technical and communication skillsAbility to work independently on several concurrent projects

Ability to read, understand, and adapt to local agency standards and communicate with agencies and clients directly and effectively
