Job Overview
Skanska is searching for a dynamic Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager. We build in many different verticals, including schools, roads, and hospitals, to create a better society.
The EHS Manager is responsible for the integration of environmental health & safety services into the business practices and compliance with regulatory requirements on their assigned Project. The EHS manager shall be project‑based and will oversee responsibilities related to environmental health & safety services, interacting directly with EHS staff, superintendents, project managers, project executives, and area/regional EHS directors.
EHS Manager Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience identifying safety hazards and recommending appropriate controls.
5+ years of experience in a safety role requiring communication with employees at all levels in a construction environment.
OSHA 30 certification.
Strong written communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Safety Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience (8+ years plus a minimum of 7 years prior relevant experience).
