Job Description JOB SUMMARY:

The Director, Enterprise Learning and Organizational Development (OD) is responsible for the overall vision, development and delivery of learning solutions that span three value streams and drive measureable business outcomes: Internal teammates – supporting interaction, business acumen and leadership skills; Commercial – supporting product launchs for both internal audiences and channel partners; External – supporting customers with value-added learning in an on-going relationship. The Director will deliver a comprehensive teammate development plan aligned to strategic business outcomes that demonstrates innovative learning design, use of technology, quality measures and supports teammate centricity across the organization. Additionally, the role is responsible for the design and delivery of OD solutions for teams and leaders, supporting C, E and Director team development, as required.

ESSENTIAL/PRIMARY DUTIES:

Create and establish support for the learning vision and strategy with Midmark leadership and teammates.

Provide thought leadership on learning and organizational design structures, practices and impact measures.

Researches and evaluates learning and organizational development best practices and integrates effective approaches into enterprise initiatives.

In partnership with HR, identify, prioritize and support the development of key organizational capabilities that drive strategic outcomes.

Build strong relationships with senior leaders and managers and work collaboratively across functions to prioritize learning and OD solutions that accelerate the value we deliver to our customers.

Increase the effectiveness of the EL teammates through organizational design and scaling of work to deliver best learning value to the enterprise.

Lead team to identify, design and develop learning solutions for teammates to build knowledge, skills and capabilities to deliver strategic outcomes.

Ensure all compliance related training requirements are identified, developed and tracked through LMS and meet required standards and audit measures.

Manages the Learning Management System (LMS) to ensure it meets evolving business needs, supports compliance requirements, and delivers engaging, scalable learning experiences across the organization.

Lead and/or assist with agenda building and content delivery of Executive team quarterly meetings, Director's and Manager meetings. Occasionally assist with Board of Directors Education sessions.

Measurement & Evaluation– identify measurements that reflect all four levels of learning evaluation and provide reporting to Executive Team on program and function ROI.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, Leadership Development, Organizational Design, Organizational Psychology, or related field and 10+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Master’s degree, preferred. Relevant preferred experience includes:

7 years learning and development working with all levels of the organization

5 years curriculum development

5 years leadership development program design, support, implementation

5 years consulting across business units

5 years management experience

Industry standard learning and development certifications preferred.

COMPETENCY/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

Deep knowledge of the design, development and evaluation of learning and OD solutions.

Demonstrated ability operating with substantial latitude and decision-making authority.

Thought leadership and experience in leadership development, talent development, and change management.

Knowledge of key talent management and OD frameworks and industry trends.

Strong proficiency in measurement, data management, analysis, and the use of both quantitative and qualitative learning evaluation methods.

Demonstrated use of critical and systemic thinking skills in organizational design.

Demonstrated ability to translate future business strategies into innovative learning experiences and solutions.

Demonstrated ability to drive measurable organizational change through learning and OD solutions and report on outcomes.

Demonstrated use of Learning Management Systems (LMS)

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Leads and directs the work of other teammates and has full authority for personnel decisions including hiring, performance management, and termination. Supervision is often provided through a team of subordinate managers. Sets strategic planning, direction, and goals for the department or function.
