Surf Camp Manager
Location: Rexhame Beach (Marshfield, MA) Employment: Seasonal (June 1 - September 15th) Reports To: Levitate Camps Director Overview
The Surf Camp Manager oversees the daily operation of a surf camp for children and teenagers, ensuring a safe, fun, and supportive environment. This role focuses on youth supervision, staff leadership, surf program coordination, and communication with parents. Key Responsibilities
Ensure the safety, wellbeing, and supervision of all campers Manage daily schedules, surf sessions, and camp activities Supervise and support surf instructors and camp counselors Enforce child safeguarding, behavior management, and safety policies Monitor ocean conditions and adjust activities as needed Communicate with parents/guardians regarding camper progress and issues Oversee equipment, facilities, and incident reporting Qualifications
Experience working with children or teens in camps, sports, or education Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills Solid surfing ability and ocean safety knowledge First Aid & CPR certification (required or willing to obtain) Background check clearance Preferred
Youth camp or surf camp management experience Surf instructor and/or lifeguard certification Child safeguarding training Work Environment
Outdoor, beach-based role High responsibility for youth safety Weekends and seasonal hours required
