Maintenance Planner
role-based in Burlington, WA. Our client is a well-established industry leader known for operational excellence, reliability, and a strong commitment to continuous improvement. With a focus on maximizing equipment uptime and supporting high-volume manufacturing operations, they pride themselves on maintaining efficiency and performance across their production environment.

Salary:
$81,000 – $88,000

(WA-based)
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, schedule, and coordinate preventive and reliability-based maintenance activities in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Scope maintenance work orders, including labor estimates, tools, materials, and required resources.
Utilize the CMMS as a reliability and asset management tool, not just for work order tracking.
Own and manage CMMS data accuracy, maintenance strategies, and asset histories.
Plan and schedule PMs around production needs to minimize downtime and disruption.
Coordinate planned versus unplanned downtime in collaboration with maintenance and production teams.
Support reliability initiatives by tracking and analyzing MTBF, PM compliance, and equipment performance.
Work closely with operations to support Just-In-Time manufacturing requirements.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and drive maintenance-related initiatives.
Support overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) improvement efforts through effective planning and coordination.
Qualifications:
5+ years of maintenance planning experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Strong background in preventive maintenance and reliability-based maintenance.
Hands‑on CMMS experience in manufacturing, including system ownership (not just usage).
Proven understanding of CMMS as a reliability and asset management tool.
Experience planning and scheduling maintenance activities around production demands.
Familiarity with production‑critical equipment.
Working knowledge of MTBF, PM compliance, and OEE.
Experience supporting Just‑In‑Time (JIT) manufacturing environments.
Self‑directed, motivated “go-getter” who drives initiatives independently.
Creative, outside‑the‑box thinker with a continuous improvement mindset.
