Role Overview You’ll lead design for the Table Management System (TMS) and Private Dining teams, managing a global group of product designers. You’ll collaborate closely with product managers, engineering, research, data science, design systems, brand design, and more to deliver value to our customers and create experiences that meaningfully impact restaurants and diners worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with product development colleagues and leaders to optimize processes and improve ways of working.
Oversee design quality and create space for innovation.
Champion design excellence and support the career growth of direct reports.
Balance user, team, and business needs while building consensus across disciplines.
Utilize data to inform decision making.
Communicate vision, develop comprehensive plans, and evangelize through storytelling.
Maintain a collaborative culture and value feedback to improve teams and products.
Qualifications & Experience
Hands‑on product design experience and a proven track record in establishing, implementing, and maintaining effective user experiences.
Experience growing designers and design managers, motivating them and helping them achieve career goals.
Deep expertise in native apps and web experiences, with a mastery of platform nuances.
Extensive experience designing for B2B or ambiguous spaces.
Data‑driven mindset with consistent use of data to guide decisions.
Strong stakeholder‑management skills; ability to build consensus across multiple disciplines.
Systems‑thinking, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
Visionary leadership with the ability to develop and execute comprehensive plans.
Storytelling proficiency—effective verbal and written communication, including presentations to internal audiences.
Critical thinking and balanced judgment, while remaining kind and standing by convictions.
High collaboration and openness to feedback, valuing continuous introspection to improve yourself, team, and products.
