Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machinist to join our Redline Precision Group team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various machine tools to produce precision parts and components that meet quality standards. Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate a variety of machine tools including lathes, mills, grinders, and CNC machines to produce precision parts.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate operations.
Measure and inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision tools to verify conformance to specifications.
Adjust machine settings and perform troubleshooting to maintain optimal operation and quality.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
Document production activities and report any issues or discrepancies to supervisors.
Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on machinery to ensure continuous operation.
Skills and Qualifications
Proven experience as a Machinist or in a similar role.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
Strong knowledge of machine tools, CNC programming, and precision measurement tools.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve machine malfunctions efficiently.
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in machining is preferred.
Familiarity with safety standards and procedures in a manufacturing environment.
