PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
to join our
in-house rehabilitation team
in Ganado, TX. This role is ideal for a clinician seeking flexibility while contributing to a collaborative and resident-focused care environment. New graduates are welcome to apply. Our therapy team is dedicated to providing individualized, evidence-based occupational therapy services that enhance independence and quality of life for our residents. Position Summary
As a COTA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide direct patient care. You will assist with implementing treatment plans, documenting resident progress, and supporting overall rehabilitation goals. Key Responsibilities
Deliver therapeutic interventions to residents with temporary or long-term disabilities Provide skilled OT services in accordance with physician orders and OT supervision Assist with implementing and carrying out individualized treatment plans Educate residents, families, and caregivers on functional strategies and exercises Document treatments, resident responses, and changes in condition Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and care planning Maintain compliance with facility, state, and federal guidelines Qualifications
Active Texas Occupational Therapy Assistant license Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) credential In good standing with all licensing boards and regulatory agencies SNF or long-term care experience preferred Familiarity with Net Health documentation system a plus Strong communication and interpersonal skills Why Join Ganado Nursing and Rehabilitation Center?
