Are you a hard‑working, dependable, and experienced plumber who wants to help keep residents, staff, and visitors comfortable at the Selinsgrove Center? The Department of Human Services (DHS) is seeking a Plumber 1 to install and maintain plumbing programs for the forty‑six buildings on campus and repair commercial and residential equipment, wastewater, and supply water systems. You will also complete preventative maintenance work orders and keep accurate daily records, independently determine the appropriate tools and materials, perform welding and oxy‑acetylene torch cutting, cut and thread pipe, and flush, install, or repair fire hydrants.
Work Schedule and Additional Information
Full‑time employment, 37.5 hours per week
Work hours: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM, Monday – Friday with a 30‑minute lunch
Overtime and travel as needed
Free parking
Telework: not available

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements
Three years of experience in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing components and fixtures; or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
