Position Overview Selinsgrove Center is looking for dependable, compassionate, and hardworking Licensed Practical Nurses. The facility is located in a rural setting just outside the Borough of Selinsgrove, a few minutes from Selinsgrove Area Schools and Susquehanna University.
Description of Work You will perform a variety of nursing duties in the care and treatment of individuals with developmental disabilities. Duties include administering medications and treatments, observing behavior and physical status, recording and reporting observations, accompanying patients to outside medical appointments, and monitoring and assisting with personal hygiene care. All tasks are carried out under the direction of a Registered Nurse and in accordance with established policies, procedures, and nursing practice standards.
Work Hours and Additional Information
Full‑time employment
2nd shift: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Rotating break days with every other weekend off
Travel and overtime as needed
Free parking available
Telework: not an option for this position
Salary for new employees: $67,558 annual (pre‑tax)

Required Experience, Training & Eligibility Special Requirements:
Active license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Pennsylvania
Employees with a temporary practice permit must obtain a licensed practical nurse license within one year as defined by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing
Other Requirements:
Pennsylvania residency requirement is currently waived
Applicants within 60 days of completing an approved licensed practical nursing program may apply; upon appointment, proof of a current PA temporary practice permit or licensed practical nurse license is required
Must be able to perform essential job functions
Legal Requirements:
A conditional offer of employment requires a medical examination and drug screening test
The position falls under the Older Adult Protective Services Act; this requires submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including PA State Police and FBI clearance
