Job Description Oiler Req Id: 11832 Job Location: Clarke County Posting Start Date: 12/22/25 Work Environment: Onsite
Job Purpose To maintain proper lubrication of all machinery in facility and to monitor equipment for potential failures.
In this position you will have the opportunity to:
Greases bearings using a grease gun, cleans grease fittings and inspects bearings on a scheduled basis
Operates forklift and uses drum dolly to move drums of oil
Fills hydraulic tanks using a forklift
Operates hand liquid pump and reads level of tanks
Fills automatic oilers, makes adjustments and uses grease gun to lubricate chains
Removes and installs filters with wrenches
Maintains communications with other personnel as required
Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and regulations
What do I need to be successful? Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance functions.
Knowledge of maintenance equipment and tools.
Time management and prioritizing skills.
Ability to read and understand safety rules and regulations.
Education/ Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
Good hand / eye coordination
Ability to use hand tools
Ability to read and understand safety rules and regulations
