Job Title and Location Job Title: MIG Welder Location: Milwaukee, WI 53224
Responsibilities
Perform MIG welding on a variety of metals and components.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications.
Inspect completed welds for quality and adherence to standards.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety protocols.
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Conduct routine maintenance on welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in welding preferred.
Proven experience as a MIG welder or in a similar role.
Strong understanding of welding techniques and safety standards.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical stamina and strength to perform welding tasks.
D1.1 certification or ability to pass the test.
